am a creator. Throughout my life, I’ve surrounded myself with artistic stimuli that caused me to look beyond the obvious beauty in the world around me. Attending poetry slams and concerts, visiting the Albright Knox on Fridays, making jewelry for friends and family, embroidering my thrift store found clothing, and reading are some of my consistent high school activities. I have never been one to succumb to fads or popular opinions, being a strict vegetarian for the past ten years is a prime example of this. Young people need to question the hypocrisy and preconceived ideas of our society.
